instructions for editors and reviewers

Editors are usually assigned the articles following the initial pre-quality editorial assessment which includes plagiarism check and language editing; however, the editors are expected to be accountable for ensuring that the article meets the journal standards of performance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Making editorial decisions with reasonable speed and communicating them in a clear and constructive manner.

• Ensure that the content of the article is factually accurate and conveys its meaning clearly.

• Cross-checking spellings, grammar, figures, tables etc. to make sure that it is relevant to the subject of the article.

• May be required to change, modify, paraphrase or condense the content in order to enhance its quality.

• Expected to make or suggest edits to the content in question.

• Submit at least one article (Research/Review) and one editorial per year, based on his/ her area of expertise.p
